Paul Osborne is a field botanist who conducts vegetation surveys and timber inventories for an environmental consulting firm. Working in ecological assessment since 2008, he documents forest structure and tracks plants with unusual chemical properties. Osborne received a master of science in botany from the University of Hawaii at Manoa and is a Certified Ecological Practitioner.
