Monica S. Hansen

Monica S. Hansen, RN, CEN, is a clinical editor at Biology Insights covering common outpatient illnesses and urgent care. She worked in suburban emergency rooms before taking a triage role at a hospital-affiliated urgent care clinic, where she helped patients determine whether acute symptoms required immediate treatment or routine follow-up. Hansen earned an ADN from Wake Technical Community College and a BSN from the University of Washington.
