Erika Lopez, MD, FAAD, is a dermatologist at an academic medical dermatology clinic, where she directs a referral service for patients with unexplained and persistent rashes. Following clinical fellowship training in complex medical dermatology and autoimmune disease, she joined the clinic to treat severe inflammatory skin disorders. Lopez, who graduated from Dartmouth College with an MD, plays acoustic guitar on weekend afternoons and contributes pieces on inflammatory dermatology to Biology Insights.
