Casey Bell

Casey Bell is a neurologist who cares for patients with movement disorders at an academic medical center. In his weekly clinics, he programs deep brain stimulators for individuals living with Parkinson’s disease and involuntary tremors, adjusting lead parameters to help reduce tremors and motor fluctuations. His research at the university center examines patterns of long-term disease progression in Parkinson’s, using longitudinal observational data to evaluate functional decline and therapeutic response over time. In addition to his hospital duties and laboratory investigations, Bell writes for Biology Insights.
