Andrew Sanford

Andrew Sanford is a plant health technician for a South Florida production nursery, and he writes about pest management for Biology Insights. Living in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, he regularly monitors crops for scale and insect vectors that threaten citrus and tropical ornamentals. Sanford is a Certified Nursery Professional and holds a state commercial pesticide applicator license, routinely scouting greenhouse benches where humid conditions allow pest populations to persist without a winter break.
