Sharon J. Gallagher, RDH, BSDH, provides specialized implant maintenance at an oral surgery and implant practice. She shifted to implant hygiene after seeing how many implants failed from inadequate home care. A home gardener who maintains a small backyard orchard, Gallagher also helps patients build daily cleaning routines that prevent peri-implant disease.
