Mark Stephens, COA, COT, is an ophthalmic technician at a teaching eye center in Ithaca, New York. In his clinical position, he conducts patient workups and diagnostic ocular testing alongside attending ophthalmologists. Stephens began in orthoptics before moving to general patient workups at a teaching hospital. He also assisted in university clinical research studies examining corneal pathology and related conditions of the ocular surface in clinic patients.
