Cultivating Kentucky Bluegrass becomes challenging in the Transition Zone, the band where cool-season and warm-season climates meet. Here, the grass frequently struggles with summer heat and humidity, increasing the risk of disease and forcing dormancy. To succeed, intensive management, including irrigation and mixing with heat-tolerant cool-season grasses like tall fescue, is necessary.
