It is not a formal medical diagnosis but rather a recognizable symptom pattern resulting from specific dietary habits. The condition medically falls under the umbrella of Severe Early Childhood Caries (ECC) or rapid, generalized adult decay.

The severe oral damage is characterized by a combination of demineralization and decay caused by the frequent and prolonged exposure to both acid and sugar.
