This includes residential and commercial landscaping, where a fully established lawn is needed immediately instead of waiting for seed to grow. Sod is also frequently used in civil construction for quick erosion control along roadsides, embankments, and newly graded sites. Because the grass is mature, it prevents topsoil runoff almost instantly upon installation.

The Cultivation and Growth Cycle

Cultivating commercial turf requires a highly controlled, long-term approach beginning with meticulous soil preparation.
