Establish a comfortable seated position on the toilet, perhaps involving a slight lean or hover for better access to the area being cleaned. Before aiming the nozzle, test the water pressure by pointing the sprayer into the toilet bowl and gently pressing the trigger. This test prevents the shock of a sudden high-pressure spray and helps gauge the necessary force for cleaning.
Mastering the Spray Technique
Careful aiming and gentle control are required to maximize effectiveness and minimize splash-back. Hold the sprayer head with the dominant hand, positioning the nozzle a few inches away from the body, and aim slightly downward toward the target area. Reach back between the legs or to the side of the body to achieve the best angle, depending on personal comfort and device location.

After the wash cycle is complete, the final steps involve drying the area and securing the device. A small amount of toilet paper can be used to gently pat the skin dry, which helps prevent skin irritation. Alternatively, users may opt for a dedicated bidet towel or allow for a brief period of air drying.
Always turn off the main T-valve after every use. Leaving the hose pressurized puts continuous strain on internal components and connections, which can lead to leaks or a hose bursting over time. Closing the valve relieves the pressure in the line, ensuring the longevity and safety of the system. For hygiene, briefly rinse or wipe down the nozzle head if any overspray is visible before placing the sprayer back in its holder.
