Establishing the Right Environment

Pepper plants thrive when exposed to full sunlight, requiring a minimum of six to eight hours of direct sun exposure daily. Nighttime temperatures should not dip below 60°F, as prolonged exposure to cold can stunt growth and prevent flowering.

The foundation for healthy growth is a well-draining soil medium that prevents waterlogging and root rot. A slightly acidic pH, typically ranging between 6.0 and 6.8, is optimal for nutrient uptake.
