Tooth discoloration, where the affected tooth darkens or turns gray, suggests the pulp has died. While some teeth needing a root canal might not show obvious symptoms, these signs collectively suggest decay has reached the tooth’s inner structures, necessitating professional dental evaluation. Addressing these symptoms promptly can help prevent further complications.
