Lemon sharks, scientifically known as Negaprion brevirostris, are easily identified by their distinctive yellowish-brown coloration, which provides effective camouflage against the sandy seafloor of their habitats. They inhabit shallow, coastal waters in tropical and subtropical regions across the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans, often frequenting coral reefs, mangrove forests, and enclosed bays. Factors Influencing Lemon Shark Growth
