Geodes heavily filled with quartz crystals will therefore be quite dense.
Calcite is another common mineral in geodes, often forming white or transparent crystals. Calcite has a density of about 2.71 g/cm³, making it slightly denser than quartz. Chalcedony, a microcrystalline form of quartz that includes agate, is also a common lining material for geode cavities. Chalcedony and agate have densities ranging from 2.58 to 2.64 g/cm³, similar to quartz.
