Currently, there is no specific treatment that cures cutis laxa or prevents its progression. Surgical procedures, such as facelifts or skin tightening operations, can improve the appearance of loose skin. However, the benefits of these cosmetic interventions are often temporary, as skin laxity tends to recur. For internal organ involvement, management includes respiratory support for emphysema, which might involve corticosteroid inhalers.
