The Nettle Oak (Quercus georgiana) is a distinctive deciduous red oak species primarily found in the southeastern United States. While not as widely recognized as some other oaks, it possesses unique characteristics that set it apart. Identification Characteristics

The Nettle Oak is identified by its shiny green leaves, typically 1.5 to 5 inches long and 1 to 3.5 inches wide.
